Geez, where are all the doubles in this game? When we played as kids there'd be three or four doubles an inning.

I'm still perturbed that Eddie Murray's card featured a strikeout. I wonder how many Phil Garner (HR on the back) for Eddie Murray trades there were back in the day!

Man, George Brett comes up, 2 out in the bottom of the eighth. Tie run is on second, go ahead run is on first and he grounds out. Was that Ken Clay, Oscar Zamora or Addie Devine that got him out? I wonder if the Mudville Nine is going to bring in Monge or Tom Murphy (they're scheduled to bat in the 9th)to close the game?
